Body Broke?!

I've been feeling more under the weather the last few days than usual with my knee problem. It's been a lot more painful in the last few days and I've also been awake at night during the last few nights for one reason or another too.

The blog posts have been a bit short lately too, I've noticed and the above reasons are probably the reasons why! I'm sure I'll get back on form soon enough.

The new mooring is taking a bit of getting used to and there's quite a bit to do outside to get it exactly how we would like it.

For example, we'd like to lay some gravel down and make like a patio area, as its just farm end land at the moment and its quite uneven and a bit of a mess - definitely needs sprucing up.
However, it'll all have to wait as I'm just not up to it at the moment.

We also have a problem with our "3" Internet connection here - its just not as strong out here as in our previous place, so its a bit temperamental.

However, i think I've got a place now on the saloon windowsill (canal side) where it works brilliantly - a slight move out of position though and its off completely!

I've just took this picture:

We're a lot more exposed here and even though its only forecast as "light winds" today, its felt very blustery here with it being so open.

But the view is amazing. Totally un-obstructed. No hedges or trees - just beautiful.

Today we popped into Poynton to get a door seal for the front doors. The wind was just whipping through the doors despite them being brand new and fitted just at the end of last year.

Anyway, the seal was only £2.49 and has worked wonders - there's no draft anymore! We should have had it before now, but its never really been that much of an issue - just a job that we happened to remember 'needed doing' today, so got on with it!

It only took 5 minutes to stick on, although we had to end it quite a bit before the lock, otherwise the door wouldn't close properly:(!)

Other than that, there's not a lot to report. I'm sitting here with my leg up!

Cheers dave, we have a different dongle though - a battery charged "MIFI" ( I think?) ill have a look and see if they're compatible so thanks for the tip - it'll come in really handy as we like to watch programmes thru iplayer or netflixwhich is a bit impossible at the moment with the signal as temperamental as it is!
