Daisypath - Vacation

Aaaaaarrrgh

Yup, I want to scream! There's so many things going on here at the minute and its definitely getting on top me now.

It makes me wonder if when we chose the name for the boat, if we really did curse ourselves!

So, there's lots going on and depending what happens in the next few days, I'm pretty sure I'm going to go ballistic, more of which I'll tell you about when its all cleared up!

Yesterday started off really well too, as we finally met up with Doug and James on Chance for a coffee and a chat - something we'd been talking about doing for quite a few months. They are currently travelling around and also have Olly off Queen Maeve with them who also came along yesterday morning.

I took a Victoria Sponge to go with the coffees, which I hope everyone enjoyed and, yes, they finally got a picture of me!!

(Nope, thats not me, that's the cake....)

Apparently, the guys thought I was an anonymous hermit tucked away in the boat (I am!) and thought it was funny that there's never any pictures of me on the blog and wanted to expose me.

So here it is, stolen from their own blog, as we forgot to take any pics!

Can you guess which one I am?! If you can, then there's your reason as to why there's never any pictures of me on here :P !!!

Well, thanks for having us on board guys, great to meet you all and hopefully we will see you again...

Apart from that, life has been a bit quiet on board apart from all the problems!! I'm thinking of painting the upper interior cabin walls in a light cream colour (which will probably be black in a few weeks once the stove gets going?!)

I think I need to paint them as the last few months being stuck at home and staring at oak, oak and more oak everywhere has left me feeling like I'm in a coffin - so it's time for a change ;)

Well, despite everything, at least I've not lost my sense of humour! Yet! That'll be next week.

  1. Hi guys - great to see you back again, we had wondered what had happened to you! Chin up - hope your knee gets sorted soon. Try to stay upbeat and when we finally get to your neck of the woods we will drop in to say hello!

  2. Hi Lewis, you are the one at the very back near the doors. I had noticed there weren't any photos of you, don't know why, you and Pav are both very handsome. Anyway, I have read every post on your blog today. Your boat is gorgeous. Rob did a fab job, I think he was working on both yours and mine around the same time last Dec. Coincidence. Looking forward to reading more. Clare x

    1. Hi, glad you're enjoying the blog . Ha! Yes you spotted me but I looked like crap that day! I usually stay out of the pics - shyness?! Not photogenic - something along those lines! Yes, rob originally came for us in October/November last year and has been back most months since - he always makes things look better! Think we're addicted to boat fitting!
